0.02 C, 0.50 Mn, 0.35 Si, 80.00 Ni, 4.20 Mo, Bal. Fe
This soft magnetic alloy develops extremely high
permeabilities with minimum hysteresis loss. Has been used primarily in shielding
applications. Can be fabricated by roll forming, spinning, deep drawing, and
other conventional sheet metal operations. Available only in sheet form 15"
to 30" wide and 0.014" to 0.062" thick.
