Carpenter specialty wire and ribbon alloys are meeting and expanding the capabilities of users in a growing number of demanding applications. Our customers range from original equipment manufacturers and their suppliers to custom fabricators of specialty alloys in markets that encompass automotive, aerospace, electronic, medical, power generation, chemical and petroleum processing, as well as consumer and industrial applications.
Quality wire and ribbon begins with quality hot rod, melted and supplied to our standards, from both Carpenter Specialty Alloys' Reading, Pennsylvania mill and other dependable sources. Much of the rod from which we produce our wire and ribbon requires highly specialized melting procedures. These include vacuum induction melting, vacuum arc remelting, or a combination of these processes.
The traditional, uncompromising approach to quality for which Carpenter Technology Corporation has been known for over a century is applied to our wire drawing and ribbon rolling operations at Carpenter Specialty Wire Products. Our mission is to redraw or ribbon roll specialty alloys on sophisticated, highly specialized equipment to precise, specified customer requirements for size, properties and specifications, and to supply them packaged for ready use in your manufacturing operations.
Highly skilled production specialists take ownership of each individual order being processed. Our Quality Assurance Department rigorously applies initial, in-process and final inspections to ensure that our products meet or exceed customer expectations. Our production capabilities and skilled manufacturing personnel are backed by our own metallurgical staff, plus Carpenter's industry-leading technical support. This includes Application Engineers and Regional Metallurgists, available through Carpenter Service Centers, who consult with customers to help solve their toughest metalworking problems.
