From New York City to Carpenter's Employment Department (Bldg. 137)
- Take Rt. 95 South
- Take Exit 14 (Newark Airport) to Rt. 78 West (Clinton Express)
- Take Exit 29A to Rt. 61 South
- Drive about 16 miles south into Reading
- At first traffic light after Rt. 12 overpass, turn right onto Cathedral Street (you'll see a Carpenter office building on the right)
- Follow Cathedral Street around to left - becomes Front Street
- Turn left onto Exeter Street. Office is 1/2 block ahead on the left
- Ample parking to left of building
From Philadelphia to Carpenter's Employment Department (Bldg. 137)
422 Route:
- Interstate 76 West - Schuylkill Expressway
- Exit 26B (202 South - West Chester)
- As you merge onto 202 South, take 422 West - Pottstown, Valley Forge exit, then stay on 422 about 40 miles
- At Reading, take Route 12 East
- Take Exit 61 South (Centre Avenue)
- Go to third intersection (at traffic light). Turn right onto Exeter Street
- Ofice building is 1/2 block ahead on right
- Ample parking to left of building
Turnpike Route:
- Interstate 76 West toward Valley Forge and the Pennsylvania Turnpike
- Take Pennsylvania Turnpike going west to the Morgantown Exit
- Follow signs at Morgantown exit to Interstate 176 North towards Reading
- Follow 176 North 11 miles to Rt. 422 West around the city of Reading
- Exit to 12 East - Pricetown
- Continue for about 1-1/2 miles. Take Exit Rt. 61 South (Centre Avenue)
- Go to third intersection (at traffic light). Turn right onto Exeter Street
- Office building is 1/2 block ahead on right
- Ample parking to left of building
From Harrisburg to Carpenter's Employment Department (Bldg. 137)
- Pennsylvania Turnpike East to Rt. 176 North - Morgantown/Reading Exit 22 (approx. 50 miles from Harrisburg)
- Take 176 North 11 miles to Rt. 422 West
- Exit to 12 East - Pricetown
- Continue for about 1-1/2 miles. Take Exit Rt. 61 South (Centre Avenue)
- Go to third intersection (at traffic light). Turn right onto Exeter Street
- Office building is 1/2 block ahead on right
- Ample parking to left of building
From Washington, D.C. and Baltimore to Carpenter's Employment Department (Bldg. 137)
- From the Washington Beltway, I-495, take I-95 North toward Baltimore
- Just south of Baltimore, take the Baltimore Beltway, I-695 West, around Baltimore
- On the north side of Baltimore, pick up I-83 to York
- Take Rt. 83 North to 30 East at York
- Exit onto U.S. Rt. 30 East. Take Rt. 30 East toward Lancaster
- From Rt. 30, take Rt. 222 North toward Reading
- On Rt. 222 turn left onto Rt. 724 West
- At the third red light turn right on Rt. 222 North
- Take Route 12 East toward Pricetown
- Exit to Rt. 61 South (Centre Avenue)
- Go to the third intersection (at traffic light), turning right onto Exeter Street
- Office building is 1/2 block ahead on right
- Ample parking to left of building
From the Reading airport to Carpenter's Employment Department (Bldg. 137)
- When leaving the main terminal, turn left onto Rt. 183 South
- Continue to the second traffic light on 183 South (Schuylkill Avenue)
- Turn right and follow street to 12 East (there's a stop sign at highway entrance)
- From 12 East, take the Centre Avenue, Rt. 61 South exit
- Go to third intersection (at traffic light). Turn right onto Exeter Street
- Ofice building is 1/2 block ahead on right
- Ample parking to left of building
